I tried to draw cat my mother liked for mother’s day. It’s not so easy… gave up and slept last night. Then many kitties and poppies swarmed in my dream. Curious dream made me warm and comfortable. My mother has been taking care of many cats and dogs since long time ago. They seem to appreciate what she had done for them and ask me to tell her ‘ ありがとう‘

母の日に母のお気に入りだった猫を登場させようといろいろ試行錯誤したが、今一つイメージがわかず寝てしまった。すると夢の中に子猫や子犬がうじゃうじゃ現れた。不思議な夢だったが、ほんわかしてしまった。母は昔から捨て犬や捨て猫の世話をみていた。きっと私に母へ’ありがとう’を伝えてもらいたかったのだろう。
